Security: Site will be monitored for various security issues such as DDOS attacks, brute force attacks, security hacks and intrusions, and other security threats. While not all security threats can be prevented, when they do occur, working with your hosting company, the threats can be neutralized as quickly as possible, leaving your site with minimal amount of down time.
Virus Protection: Site can be prone to viruses, backdoor trojans, and other exploits. While these cannot be prevented all the time, the benefit of having a backup is that the site can be restored with minimal amount of down time.
Maintenance: Your site is using WordPress as the CMS platform. WordPress needs to be constantly updated as there are updates and security issues that each update resolves. Site also use various plugins which also need to be updated as well for the same reasons. Maintenance will include updating core files and plugins as needed.
Backups: A backup of the site will be made on a weekly basis with the last four current backups being continually saved (the oldest backup will be removed). Should an issue arise with the site, the backup can be used to restore the site. Restoration of the site is covered and does not require additional fees.
Database Optimization: All extraneous information will be purged from the database, including page and post revisions, comments, and spam.
Updates: One monthly update for the site will be covered up to 2 hours of work. Updates can include revising content such as the recipes, adding and removing photos, and changing copy. Modifying the design or structure of the site is not considered an update and would need to be reviewed under a different contract. This time does not rollover.
